Baggage Battles debuts tonight on the Travel Channel at 10 p. The risk factor of Storage Wars and its countless imitators taps into a primal itch that most people avoid scratching assuming their brain chemistry allows them to. Why bet the house on lotto tickets, the roulette table, or the ponies when you can spend multiple hours per week watching Barry Weiss and friends attempt to turn seized assets into reality-TV profits? If there are so many other dealers offering the quick, vicarious gambling fix, why sample what Baggage Battles has to offer?
Celina Leroy Self as Self. Bob Brown Self as Self. More like this. Watch options. Storyline Edit. Add content advisory. User reviews 6 Review. Top review. This truly is awful. The premise is three teams 'battle' each other to bid at auction on sealed boxes.
Then they open the boxes to see what 'treasure' they find. Then 'treasure' is taken to 'expert' for them to value. This seems, to me, to be set up. For example, one of the battlers opens a box full of junk hats, but guess what? How did whoever put random hats into the box miss this! There are numerous other occurrences in other boxes, but i got bored after watching 3 episodes of this. The show is very contrived, where is the battle?
Details Edit. Steal Drum. The buyers are back in Nashville, TN. The Martins bid big on an old Beatles drum after leading Mark to believe it's worthless, and one of the buyers scores a slam dunk with vintage Michael Jordan sneakers. Monster Money.
